Madelyn and I had a little photo shoot today

Outside

It was so nice outside this morning we decided to play in the yard for a bit. Madelyn loved being outside.



Then it was time to take a nap. I went to check on Madelyn and this is what I found.
Even with a paci in she smiles.
Now that she can sit up from laying down naps are a little more difficult.

9 Months Old

Holding up 9 fingers for 9 months old. Yes she is brilliant we know!

At 9 months old Madelyn...
has two teeth
lots of hair
can sit up from laying down
talks very loudly all day long
says mama and bye-bye
waves bye bye
throws her head back and screams when you put her down and she's not ready to play alone
rolls everywhere
tries to pull up on things
loves other children
lights up when she sees Keyser
loves her mommy and daddy
gets upset if she sees her bottle and doesn't get in fast enough
is a good eater
wears 2-3 size diapers
wears mostly 9 month size clothes but some 6 month and 6-9 month still fit
takes two naps a day
makes us laugh daily
smiles all the time
is very ticklish
has finally started to sleep good at night
is such a joy to have in our lives.

Happy New Year

2009 was a wonderful year with many great memories. We look forward to making more great memories in 2010! I know it will be a great year with this sweet little face in it.

Madelyn's First Christmas

Madelyn had a wonderful first Christmas. Her day started early, we woke up at my parents house at 5:45 and went to Spencer's parents house. Madelyn got to open presents with her cousins Aubry and Paisley, she had so much fun. She loved all the wrapping paper. After we opened all our presents from Santa and My-myee and Papa Rick we were headed back to my parents house where Madelyn got to open more presents. She is just a little spoiled!! We had a wonderful lunch at my parent's house then we looked for Max (my parent's cat who is an inside cat) outside for what seemed liked forever only to find out that he was inside the whole time. Then it was off to Mama Lou and Daddy Bob's in Greenville. Madelyn was so tired she slept the whole way to Greenville. Once in Greenville Madelyn got to open even more presents- this child is an expert at presents now. We spent a few days in Greenville, Madelyn had so much fun with her cousins and the rest of her family. Madelyn was such a sweet little angel even though she is spoiled rotten by all her grandparents and aunts and uncles.
