Busy Week

What a difference a year makes

April 20th 2009

19 1/2 inches long
On this day we were so excited to finally get to hold you

20 lbs 1 oz
29 1/2 inches long

On this day and everyday we are still so excited to hold you.
We are so blessed to have such a sweet angel in our lives.

I can not believe my sweet baby girl is 12 months old. She has changed so much right before our eyes.
At 12 months old Madelyn is:
busier than ever
weighs 20 lbs and 1 oz (40 %)
29 1/2 inches tall (50%)
so close to walking on her own
likes to do everything her self
tells Keyser bac bac bac (back) when he's in her face (so funny)
has started to tell mommy bac bac bac when I'm in her face (not so funny)
is miss personality
loves to go new place
loves other children
her favorite friend (besides Keyser) is Banner who lives across the street, she loves to just watch him
throws everything out of her crib then gets mad when she ready to go to sleep and doesnt have her babies and paci
likes to throw things on the ground to see how many times someone will pick them up
loves to watch the birds
wants to be outside all the time
gets mad when I put sunscreen on her (just like her daddy)
strawberries,watermelon and broccoli are her favorite foods
has started using a sippy cup
wears size 3 diapers
wears 12 month clothes and size 3 shoe
would rather go naked than wear clothes, it's a fight most mornings to get clothes on her (sorry baby you can't be a nudist)
loves to yell (happy yell)
is such a little ham
talks a lot
is so funny
is still a happy girl
loves her family
has become a daddy's girl lately and wants her daddy all the time (Spencer is loving this)
gives big open mouth kisses (so sweet)
likes to play in Keyser's water bowl
sleeps from 8pm until 7:30 or 8 am (making up for all the months she didn't sleep)
loves to look out the backdoor
would ride in her wagon all day if I would pull her
is so sweet it's unbelievable
keeps us on our toes
has brought so much love, joy and laughter into our lives
her smile lights up a room and her laugh is the sweetest sound I've ever heard

Happy Birthday sweet baby girl. Your mommy and daddy love you more than you'll ever know.
