At 7 months old Madelyn is still a happy little girl. She smiles and laughs all day long and is into everything. Everything has to be touched and then goes straight into her mouth. She loves to "talk" very very loudly and loves to meet new people. Her two favorite people are mommy and daddy, for right now anyway. She loves to smile at Keyser then pull his hair or kick him and he doesn't really seem to mind, we are so thankful he's sweet with her. Madelyn is such a good eater, she is now eating carrots, squash, green beans, peas, sweet potatoes, bananas, pears, peaches and mangoes. She's has been trying to get up on her knees to crawl, I think she will be crawling by Christmas. Madelyn has the ability to sleep through the night but most nights she chooses not to. It's way more fun to wake up the whole house all night long than to sleep. We stay very tired but she is well worth it. Spence and I love this little girl more than we ever knew we could. We are so thankful to have such a beautiful happy and healthy little girl in our lives.
Standing up on her ownUPDATE: We went to the doctor today to get Madelyn's second flu and swine flu shots and she didn't even cry. At 7 months Madelyn weighs 16.75 pounds.
She's getting so big and so cute. Love the turkey! She just looks soo sweet. Can't wait to see her. Sorry we won't get to see her anytime soon. Would love to get over while Mary and Matt are home, but don't think we will make it since I need to go to my Aunt Lenore's in Jan. so maybe I'll see her then, otherwise hopefully during the summer. Has she met her great grandmother Sirmon yet! I know she was really anxious to see her. Have a great Thanksgiving.
